These are the exciting updates from Field of Armor Tanks:
'RC Combat' M4A3 Sherman, with the Dragon kit shell - The project is back on! We found a way to make the tracks work
1. FOA now offers 1/6th scale RC Sprocket for Sherman M4A3.
2. We now offer two sets of track pads for the Sherman, the T48 with chevron pad and T51 with smooth pad. Please note the inner-metal-connectors, with hard rubber cast pad, allowing those tracks to withstand the RC stress. What's great about these pads, they just look like the REAL thing! The two pins are grooved, to receive the metal end-connectors and clips. 'RC Combat' Sherman M4A3 expected release is September 2014.
3. 'RC Combat' Tiger I Ausf.E Late is now available for purchase. The pre-production batch was released and we are in full production. Please view the new video where ALL 12 working Sub-Systems are tested. We added the sound system, smoke system, recoil, track tensioner, and laser guidance. The static or RC Tiger I now includes a fully functional exhaust system. A 'Fog Smoke System' will be offered by FOA in the next few weeks. It uses an ultrasonic design with distilled or de-ionized water. Another development was the batteries: we experimented with the LiPo batteries and they worked very efficiently. These batteries need special care in storage, charging and use. But they save about 20lbs in the total weight of the vehicle. The Tiger I overall weight with ALL sub-systems is 120lbs without batteries.
4. FOA is proud to announce that we teamed up with Panzerwerk to introduce some of their beautiful and accurate products in METAL. First are the Sd.Kfz.251 'late' tracks and Panzer IV 'late' tracks. We should have the metal Panzer IV idler ready by the end of the week.
5. FOA now offers a 2.4GHz 6-channel TX/RX system with customs push buttons and default centered levers. We are still expecting the PS2/XBox control system with the Hero System in the winter 2014.
6. On the "Static" front, FOA released the M16 MGMC with the beautiful ArmorPax Quad mount and also the M3A1 Pulpit upgrade to the M3 Half-track. FOA should have the motorization of the M3 ready for the fall 2014. We heard from John at ECA (East Coast Armory) that they are finishing up on a suspension system for the FOA M3 kit.

7. Last but not least, FOA is announcing the 'RC Combat' Panther Ausf.G release for September 2014. It is a "Hybrid" vehicle, like the Tiger I - made of 3/16" ABS outer shell, with steel inner shell in 12g, 16g, 18g and 20g steel. All sub-systems are identical to the Tiger I.
