Try pushing the batteries in the controller back and forth... sometimes they don't contact properly... not sure why but it has happened to me many times... there are times I even remove and put them back several times before they seat right...but that's the usual problem I've found...seems Chinese AA batteries have different dimensions as Duracell (what I use) seem to be a little thicker.. and the positive probe a little short in comparison to other brands

Re: Problem with Radio controller on henlong tank.
I had a similar problem after running my Tiger with no problems one week, and the lights continued flashing with occasional hap-hazard turret movements. I tried everything although I had new Duracell for the radio and 2x Ni-cads:
*I disconnected the Ni-cad battery
*Made sure the tank power switch was off
*Gently prised closed the 2x female connectors inside the battery's connector block -a little (to make sure it obtained a proper connection from the ni-cad's prongs)
*Turned on the radio first then reconnected the Ni-cad battery to the tank and turned it on successfully.
One of my Ni-cad batteries is old and sometimes I drain it using a spare motor I've got if the above (simple) procedure fails with it.
N.B. It's only safe to run-down the common Ni-cads of power.
