Farnborough Air Show 2014

Post by Phil »

What a great weekend, started sunday morning unloading the two Canadian canoes form the top of my friends van. The plan was to paddle from fleet along the canal to the bottom of Farnborough’s runway to watch the air show for free from the grassed bank by the canal.

First time in a canoe for me which I’m paying for now boy do I hurt today, it took an hour to paddle to our spot and an hour back. It seemed twice the distance on the way back after food wine, beer, cheese, fruit etc!

Some great airplanes jets and 1WW and WW2 planes, lucky I took my 70mm - 300mm with me as some of them were a little way off.

Phil,
Great photos! I didn't know that some of those planes were still in existence. What a wonderful day that must have been. ;o)
