Thank you! ;o) I think that this camo pattern breaks up the apartment block silhouette of the KV-2 as best as it may be done. The hard line pattern is pretty snazzy.

I would say these two shots tell everything

I like the amount of separation on this side....the other seems a little neglected

overall...now it's how I kind of pictured it..... she's a real brutish looking brute right now a fine example of a glorious piece of armor

Alpha,
Thank you, I'm glad you like it. The one side needed a little more of the remaining yellow left to balance out all of the green and red on the tank. I also left a corner of the front deck untouched for the same reason. ;o) There should be an equal amount of sienna, olive grun and dunkelgelb on it now laid out so as to break up the outline. Once all the details are in place and some weathering is done, it should turn out all right. I was confident and worried with this one. That's a lot of space to do with a brush, even big ones.

I don't want to sound too critical Painless

but maybe if you just brought the red up from the box to the dot on the turret....a way to see what it would look like without damaging what you have already done is paint a piece of tape... and just stick it there for effect...the rest looks perfectly balanced to me...but I don't have your vision... and idea of what's to come

Of course, Alpha, getting constructive advice is one of the main reasons I am on the Forum. In this case, I spent the evening working on mounting extra details and a lot of the extra yellow on that side has been covered or broken up. I'll post the pics in the morning after the camera battery charges. Have a great rest of your evening. ;o)

Nice work Michaelangelo !
As Mr Alpha says, we dont know your end vision for it, the left side is a little light on the brown, but that could be ideal for the progressive stages you will have planned.
Did you need to get a painters scaffold built round the thing to reach all the spots to paint, it is like a barn wall that turret side

Felt kind of bad Painless... I know your eye for detail and level of perfection... I'm also glad to hear you added a little more red to that side

these three views... I would say you nailed it perfectly...so I hope you didn't do anything to any of these sides

Good Morning,
CH, thank you, Sir, for coming round and kicking the road wheels. ;o) Herman, it was like painting a building, just one with rivets, bolts and weld marks all over it. I had planned to leave that yellow section on the left for stenciling and unit markings but after some good advice from you all, I broke it up some. Detailing is ongoing and I am pleased with progress. ;o) Alpha, I used my mental pattern and followed your advice. It does look more balanced on the one side. I did not do any additional painting on the rest of the vehicle, just continued the seemingly endless job of filling in light spots and nicks and tiny missed spots under rims and bolts, etc. The KV-2 is a gigantic vehicle.
