Car boot finds

Post by tiger tiger »

I went to my local car boot today ( flea market/swap sale in usa i think) anyway not much militaria there normally but to my surprise 2 stalls selling ww2 militaria. one large item i immediately recognised, a tank crew hatch periscope which turns out was from a sherman in mint condition for £45 but i had to resist. Lots of other goodies there too, badges, daggers, ammo pouches, a nice metal panzer badge ww2. A metal ss skull/crossbones/dagger badge and a metal German assault badge ww2 and various other bits n bobs. i might get the periscope if its there again and the panzer badge. i bought the ss badge today. It shows you never know what can turn up at these things.

Hi Tiger, where was the car boot?

There is never normally anything interesting at boots around me.

Cheers
