Re: Project Bulldog - Start to Finish
I know how to settle all of this...I am not changing a damned thing. In fact I might just stick a vase of flowers in the commanders hatch and tie a pair of Y-fronts to the ariel!! >:(

Re: Project Bulldog - Start to Finish
Just to annoy the rivet counters, I have installed my Darkith IR system, and the only place that I could mount the left/right sensors was in scratch built housings. I intend to drape some camo netting over these (gauze bandage?) so hopefully they will be invisible too. Everything else is pretty much out of sight...and it all works too! I now have a Tamiya compatible battle system. mass inertia start/stop, can disable the recoil, and fire/hit sounds. The leds are hidden under the rear of the turret and are high intensity so shine like a beacon.
All in the total cost of this Bulldog has been £130, so I am a happy bunny (I might even cut the periscopes down... :-[ )

Re: Project Bulldog - Start to Finish
There we go, revised vision ports plus camo netting and a few bits of 'luggage'.

Hi Rob
what a great build...this is great for to read me cos I planned on a Buldog as my next tank...I will certainly follow your example and keep the cost down.....the paint job is terific.
