Hi Alpha

The Tiger was my first tank and has been 'in process' for well over a year now. It is nearly finished. The sherman is also 'in process' the next job on the sherman is paint but that may well have to wait until the spring (I have to spray paint outside because my wife may well remove a few of my vital organs if I used an airbrush in the house). I sprayed the Tiger back in the spring but every time I look at it I see something else I want to do!

Personally I don't like the look of the air cleaners and so elected to a 'mid production' tiger with early turret and wheels but minus the air cleaners.

Actually, there was. The rear travel lock was designed to fit on a Tiger with complete Feifel gear attached. However, by the time the locks were delivered, the Feifels were being deleted, and I have never seen them installed together as they were intended to be.

"Mid production" Tigers started being made in July 1943. The desert war had been over for 2 months.

About twenty thousand photographs. I have put a little time into this subject.
