Thanks for the warm welcome. I used to build in 1/35 scale but I just got tired of dealing with all those micro sized parts. Im 45 now & my vision & steadiness of the hands are not what they used to be so a jump to 1/16 scale seemed like the logical choice. Not a problem with the cooking....I have some top secret recipes of my own!
Aaaah yes 46 this Month and the tiny parts aren't as easy as they used to be :wtf:
HL /Mato tiger 1 early, Tamiya Tiger 1 early, Taigen tiger 1 mid
Taigen T34/85, HL SU-100
Jagdpanzer Lang
Taiga Jagdpanther
Heng Long Sherman DGS Firefly kit
Tamiya King Tiger (unbuilt)
Mato all metal Panzer III
1/10 Jagdpanther

Mark, Hi, I would recommend that you get a MAGNIFIER, Tamiya sell one which comes with three sets of interchangable lenses, worn like spectacles they keep your hands free, I would not be without them , the downside is they are not cheap but other magnifiers are available, also a very bright adjustable light source, In Britain that means a lamp, in California or Hawaii an open window! I don't want to sound like your mum but if you are using a DREMEL for grinding you have to wear goggles and a face mask, there are a number of handy gadgets that allow you to do your work hands free, if you can get hold of one (PUN INTENDED) a ten year old grandson is a godsend, other gadgets cost more than a chocolate bar but are very useful. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
