A long time ago I ruined the surface of a Panzer 4 by filing and sanding when fitting the engine hatches, since then whenever I have to file or sand the surface of a Tank body I cut to shape strips of DUCK TAPE (not masking tape, it is too thin) and lay it around the area I am working. it allows you to work with less worry and it saves trying to repair the surface of your Tank. shaun
