Alpha,
Indeed! Tamiya in combination with the stock frames and ribs should make a pretty good grill. Extra cool, I'll be waiting to hear from you. ;o)

Good Morning Alpha,
That is Ok. ;o) I have some chains I painted OD and did not use on 'Maxene'. I will give them a spray in steel or black and drape them on one side of the 754(r)'s turret. Thanks again for enduring obtuse Salesladies ;o)

Alpha,
I had not. It looks like it would work for your L70 as well. ;o) I have the Taigen RX with a taillight plug in for reverse. I could try this there but as a Convoy light, it should really be on when the rest of the lighting is. I could hook it up to the mini board up front where the Notek light is attached but I am already worried about overloading that board. I think I will have to pass on that one and go with the extra lighting already tested and working. This falls firmly under ( "A mans got to know his limitations" ) * chuckles* I've got the Mato metal one back there that I will paint with a blue or green lens depending on which it was in 1942 . Thanks for the heads up.

Nothing from the post today so I girded up my loins and prepared for an engine grill removal of Gluemonkian proportions. *laughs* Pics again to tell the sordid tale:

- The under grill engine air intake louvers. They can be cut out and set to open on the HL KV-2 but it is not recommended on the Taigen version due to the under deck mounted Smoker

I just don't know where you find out about the little gems you always seem to find... those grills look fantastic... now for the hard question...did you remove the plastic grills

Have a good one Painless

Alpha,
An easy answer. Nope. ;o) The grills fit so nicely on the molded ribs that I saved myself the trouble. The mesh patterning is dense so you cannot really see through it either. A win for my peace of mind.
