is it possible to bind two tanks to one transmitter?

I have two tanks with the Heng long 2.4 ghz system. Here's what i want to do-i just got a panzer mark III and i want to use the 2.4 system in it also. I dont want to buy another entire system. I already have tha spare binding wire/antenna (the thing that plugs into the receiver, the wire with the small button on the end that binds with the transmitter).

One suggestion i got was to swap the binding wire. This would work but not very convenient, and risk tearing the wire each time...you could also swap the receiver but again, even MORE clumsy thing to do.

if i buy only the receiver seperately, install it in the Panzer III then, can i bind it to one of my transmitters, and use the transmitter for two tanks (not at the same time of course). Or is this just not possible? If so what is the binding procedure?

I put the instructions on another post. I believe if you purchase another receiver it should come with its own binding button.

You are persistent Mark ...of course you can bind more than one tank... I run my two Shermans off one 2.4 ..My Kv and two T34s off another ... it's easy.. all you need is one binding button...this component of the system is transferable tank to tank... as it becomes inert once you bind the tank to the transmitter

Only one at a time. When you switch back you will need to bind to it again.

Thank you...If I swap the wire from the board from one tank to the other it's the same result right? Which to you is easiest -swap wires or rebind?

Rebinding because you don't need to open up the tanks, Just make sure that the other tank is not on when you rebind.

What do you mean by switching wires ? The binding is in the MFU itself so if you switch MFU then yes.

It's the same with the Heng Long 2.4 ...you bind it and move on... that's it ..reason I can just unplug the binding button ...use it to bind another tank..and leave it be..The Taigen unit sounds different if you have to constantly bind

So Mark... I left this image with Tiger Tiger... may as well put it here as well...not sure how long it will last as the vendor might pull it so I recommend you print a hard copy for your own use

As I told Tiger... this is the early gen...it now does not have the ports for the on/off smoke...and volume control...they have incorporated that into the transmitter ...everything else is the same

and as I stated before...once you bind the tank there is no need to bind it again... reason you can use the binding button to bind another to the same transmitter
