Tom, you know this is not helping me with the decision on the lower hull for the "F". :-(

Hi jnewboy, i agree with tomhugil on this one. I have a hl jagdpanther and fitted a taigen uprated lower hull from forgebear on ebay uk. This is a metal reinforced plastic hull with correct angle glacis plate, it has metal torsion bar suspension, a built in track tensioner and metal tow shackles and for a lil over £60 is a good deal and a direct swap over. It also comes with a new back plate with better detailing including moulded in rear reflector

I agree it looks great but being that Im an American and our dollar is worth alittle over half what your pound is worth it comes out to be $110 + about $20 to ship it. Thats more than the tank costs but I can get a Tamiya bottom including shipping from Japan for $40. So if the Tamiya bottom will work it would be a great savings to me. Has anyone ever tried this?

Tamiya lower will fit the henglong top I believe. I'm not sure about the gearboxes fitting. Also you would have to buy all the suspension component which are quite expensive. If you go on rc universe captain nemo altered the glacis plate angle on his panther to make it correct or better, so it can be done!
