NAKED WHEEL CENTRES
As my efforts to create perfection are coming to an end I couldn't help noticing that the wheel centres on my TORRO Tiger 1 are showing the chrome hex head wheel nut,( very much not seen on the original ) Lots of Tanks come with blanks that are placed over the hole but plenty do not, the problem is you will need access some time in the future, so glueing in a blank is not an option, My solution is using a sharp pair of scissors or a decent craft knife, cut to size a piece of MASKING TAPE or DUCK TAPE and apply it to the wheel centre, make sure you put some pressure on the tape so that any detail it is covering shows through, then a smear of paint in the background colour and the jobs done, and best of all it can be removed without marking the wheel and a replacement can be quickly fitted , oh, and it is cheap and we all have some masking tape on the work bench. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone

Re: NAKED WHEEL CENTRES
Interesting... for the center well say on a KT you could just paint in a darker colour to simulate depth...
I might have to try this for fun!
