Good day! I just wanted to gather info before getting one (DBC & DBU)
A question for those who use the Version 2 DBC (DBC & DBU + Aftermarket transmitter)
Do you use a 5th channel to fire the main gun? Or is it still configured like the airsoft cannon of the HL (Left stick up)?

Re: DBC Question
As no one has replied, you might like to read the Darkith manual. You can email the man himself, as he is a very helpful guy!

Re: DBC Question
Oppsie! Sorry I missed this question.
I assume you are using the DBC2RC as you are asking about the 5th channel? (ie NOT the HL transmitter and receiver - for that you use the DBC)
If you have the 5th channel connected it acts as an on/off switch for the tank. Assuming your Tx is a 'mode 2' (most are) It should work as follows:
less than half up left stick: Recoil or airsoft fire
More than half up left stick: IR emitter fire (and cannon flash if fitted)
Less than half down left stick: machine gun fire
more than half down left stick: elevation motor
I currently use 6 channel Hitec Laser 6's with my 2 systems; The rotary potentiometer on Tx channel 6 can be connected to the 5th channel on the DBC2RC board, and operates as follows:
0% - engine off
>0% + up right stick: engine on
~50% + up left stick: airsoft / recoil
~50% + down left stick: machine gun
~100% + up left stick: IR emitter fire
~100% + down left stick: elevation motor
Hope this helps
