Re: Tunisian tiger "norbert" build
I used Tamiya XF-60 dark yellow with a sin industries tri-colour filter, which is a light ochre. The AK Africa corps filter is has got a slight hint of orange but gives a nice hue.

Re: Tunisian tiger "norbert" build
Having finally received an end of may date or the tunisian tiger aber bits to bit launched I decided to press on with the build. I've bought a couple of bits packages off ebay for bargain prices which i'm going to be putting to good use on this. The first was a photo etch set for the loaders hatch. Tricky to build but I think looks good! Next i decided to detail the smoke launchers as these where letting the rest of the tank down. I've used 0.5 mm brass wire and 1mm styrene rod to make something vaguely scale.

So an eagle eyed viewer (thanks Vonmarshal) pointed out the earler tigers don't have the triangular bits at the end of the guards. So these have been removed!
I put the wheels and tools back in to make sure all fits after paint.

Toaster oven to the front...Toaster oven to the rear...Damn! I'm on a chopping block...Exclaims the Capt............
Really nice build Tom... I see you are having more fun doing this one than your last Tiger...went above and beyond with the intricate detail.
..Great Job sir

Again thanks to some of the more observant I've rectified my backwards clasps on the snow showed and the jack. Next bits I've got to do are purely mechanical. I picked up a job lot of tiger bits, in that where an impact upgraded recoil, schumo geardowns and sealed oil less bearing. This is going to be pimptastic!!
