Yes, it is frustrating to stop every few minutes to take a picture, but that is how you teach others. ;)

Check this one I did out, lots of pictures...

Although we've gone a bit off topic I'll put in my two peneth. I like builds with lots of photos and try and make sure every sessions work is documented, just a few snaps showing what I've done. I don't think there's any need to stop every two minutes to photograph. My thoughts are if some one sees something I've done and wants it explaining I'll write a reply with that to help them.

I can see where you are coming from Jnewboy...but that's why on this board there are sections specifically for "builds" the Masterclass is more of a mix of the "show off"" and "build" classifications...it's there to inspire...not so much teach...more simply put... where that section is a furrow... where seeds of inspiration are planted... you look.. you see... maybe like.... then make the attempt
the "how too" is then addressed in the "build" sections.. find what you need... as that's were there is the most participation... links for research ...parts etc..

Reason I'm more inclined to agree with tom... as not everyone documents their builds in the same way...I know when I build ...I build till whatever was being worked on is done...I won't stop to photograph it because during the process ..the steps may have taken many morphs to be perfected... and only at the end..I might think about documenting it with a photo
What can I say... I'm not the best teacher...but as a continuing student of the craft...I can say I've developed a keen eye for things I like ...and don't

For what you see in the build sections are the varied examples of how far someone will go on a build....for me ..some are way too elaborate...as an experienced modeller I know which details will last and which will break off with time

I've been around the block and back....and now... appreciate simplicity more than complexity ... especially with these Rc Tanks... you tend to handle them more than a Static model... so there is more chance things can break off
Reason I admire and complement those who go farther than I.... but know I wouldn't go to that measure

What you have to remember is everything is not only subjective... but relative...and depends on personal values

Me ... simplicity is the Key...it's subjective.. as even you would say I could do more... I don't think so :haha: ...relative because I could say you could do less... also subjective
best thing.. just be happy with what and how you do things.. and allow others to enjoy things the way they do things ...take ideas if you want... ask if you need to know more...on a board like this... there are more than enough people to walk you through any process you are performing..

so no worries...JUST DO IT

And that's why I like to follow your builds Tom... as well as many others :haha:

I know you're a Master of the craft.. also consider you an excellent inspiration to others... but you don't need to be told that ...and imo...that's class :D

Take care Tom... still waiting for images of your Sturm ...and the creation of your Kv2 Image............................ ;) ................. :haha: :haha: :haha:

Now THAT is a thing of indescribable beauty. If I thought I could teach it to cook, I'd marry it.
