Very nice work. How well does it run with all that weight?

Thanks

I used Heng Long electonics.  As you can see in the picture I added heat sinks.  This is also running a 3:1 gear reduction over the standard Heng Long gearing.(added one more gear)  This means the motors draw less amps because of the mechanical advantage of the gear ratio.  I actually blew three boards before I found out I had a short across one motor as it touched the opposing gear tower.  I have since insulated the motor tabs, so this doesn't happen again.  In the process of trouble shooting, I also added a cooling fan.  The speaker has also been remounted facing downward.  The bass response is at least twice as good!!!!!  It actually has a rumble to it.

From now on all my installs well be fuse protected.  It just makes sense. As far as ESC's go these boards are incredibly cheap, but still the addion of a $5.00 fuse should should prevent flame outs.
