Tamiya 1.16 ww2 German machinegunner

Post by tiger tiger »

Heres my Tamiya machinegunner, i got this figure and a dragon 1.16 Hauptman Grosdeutscheland division ( karachev 1943) with a tiger 1 which were new but the owner had lost interest in finishing them. The figues had been assembled but unpainted, the tiger was a new smoke and sound and had started to be fitted with zimmerit but again not finished. The tank and two figures were then put on ebay where i found them. I have painted/finished this Tamiya figure and the tiger, still got the dragon figure to do.

Hi tiger tiger,

Very nicely done. I really enjoy figure painting myself, there are several of mine in the other military non RC models section on this forum.

Check out Tamiya,s 1/16 German Uniform decal sheet. They are really good, I use them a lot. Peddinghaus Decals also now do several sheets of uniform decals, but I did not find them as sharp in detail as the Tamiya ones.

Keep up the good work, and show us some more figures soon.
