Thank you for your message sassgrunt.

I know for gas caps. I need to mold 4 of them. I need to do a crossbar front of the rear deck too.

There is a lot of details to do to finish this tank.

It is with your help and others people than I can do these details.

This drawbar is for steering system. It is the tank commander who move this drawbar to left or right for the Sherman turn in water to left or to right.

This drawbar will not be installed during dynamic show, but during static display I will put on.

This drawbar control the rudder...

I hope I was clear.
Good planning Fred...

Hello everybody.

To begin, sorry, but during last weeks and for the others 3 next weeks, I am very busy.

Now it is an emergency to finish this DD tank before 3 weeks.

You can see I have modified the bolts on the rear deck. It is most realistic.

For tools, the handles are in wood. Difficult to find pictures with tools on a Sherman DD, for this reason I put tools where I think it is good and with help of Sherman' s tank pictures.

It is the first time I try aging on parts and I think for moment, it is not bad. What do you think about canva cover front the turret or oxygen bottles front the tank?

I have a lot of work to do, but this tank must be absolutely finish for june 6!!!!!!!!

OUTSTANDING JOB! really liking all the details and time put into this build Fred...I have to say... in a way it'll be ashamed to cover it up with olive drab...but she's definitely one of the best Duplex Drives I've seen.... and the most unique as yours works :D
If the June 6th anniversary memorial build was a competition... I'd say you win :haha:

Thank you Mike.

It is not for a competition, it is only for a show in Normandy with friends.

Do you have seen , I have modified the place of drawbar rear the turret, after your message. The first time, I put the drawbar after I have seen on an drawing.

But when I had read your message, I have watching ( an another time) a video of critical past on you tube and here............... big surprise the draw bar is on a better place. For this reason I have modified.

Thank you, because with your help it is more realistic...

Wow ... yes now that you mention it Fred... the pole does look better on the turret... I can't take credit for that though...as you did mention you had an alternate position for it ...and that was there just for when the Duplex was in the water

I had thought when you mentioned the deadline for your build ....it was for Mcevoyi's June 6 anniversary build...which is the same as your gathering so you could still participate in that as well... ;) ...Anyway.. I still think you win lol...and will repeat myself by saying it's the best and most unique model I've seen for awhile...just because of everything that functions ...I might also go as far to say it's museum quality

Great Job Fred
