thanks...looks exactly like my heng long. Not that's a bad thing but was wondering if perhaps they used metal hull or similar.

Hmmm..... I thought the Waltersons are different on the inside. Looks exacly like HL except with the new Taigen speaker. Good to know.
Thanks for posting the pics !

Yep, only difference is the upgrade speaker and black steel gearboxes instead of pot metal silver ones...

Good Morning,
To get the updated hull, I believe that the Torro KT is the one that comes with that stock as well as a ton of other nice bits and a crate. Saxondog has one and did a really good thread on updating and showing how it worked and what could still be done to improve it. I have one of the older HL versions and did a minor build on it and it turned out really well. One of the best runners I have seen with some minor modifications like a Henntec idler adjuster and hull brace and some upgraded metal suspensions arms and springs. The metal tracks, sprockets and idlers were stock on it along with a turned aluminum barrel. The King Tigers are some of the most impressive RC tanks when on the move and you definitely have a good one there. Enjoy!
regards,

Hi guys the taigen speaker and black steel gears were fitted by me, they didn't come with it. It was standard heng long basic gear inside, although called a premium model. Still it was a smoke n sound with
a custom paint finish, a carry bag and uprated battery for £150. Basically its a rebadged heng long with a few cosmetic custom finshes and waltersons branding. A good base to start with and upgrade it as and when.
