If I can remember them all the mods are:
Ground off the mould seam on the road wheels and added a mud effect to the hull with filler. Fitted brass screens on the air filters and exhaust box. Relocated the machine gun LED from the drivers view slit (typical Heng Long madness!) into a styrene tube that's fixed to the upper hull, under the gunners hatch. I then drilled out the MG34 barrel and ran a fibre optic cable through it that fits into the tube facing the LED. The excess cable is almost hidden buy a 1/18 action figure that is helpfully a little oversized so suits the 1/16 tank. Now it has mussel flash on firing but can be completely removed when the hatch is closed.
The front light had its fish eye LED filed flat and I made the slitted cover from thin plasticard glued onto the lens. The commanders periscopes wouldn't hold in while running so I fitted them onto a disc of plasticard that sits on top of the IR socket in his cupola with a 2 pence peice for added weight. After checking through reference pics I relocated the spare wheels onto the rear fenders and built up a wooden effect screen from plasticard around the rear engine deck to contain stowage.
Repainted with a 3 colour scheme using Humbrol tan spray with Tamiya bottle acrylics airbrushed over. Numerous artist oil washes were added to get the dirty rain streaked effect and pastel dust weathering. The paint chips were dark grey paint applied by brush and Skotch pad then highlighted with a graphite pencil. The tracks also got the graphite treatment but it's mostly worn off from running.
Added a few dents and bends on the fenders, relocated the antenna mount into the proper box on the left hand rear hull structure and rewired it from inside. I removed the smoke unit as it had stopped work intending to replace it with a proportional upgrade but I've yet to buy one.
Anyway here's the pics

These Panzer 3 based tanks are great fun and perform well, good value for money. It's a shame to let it go but I need the space and funds.
Hope you like
