Hi Guys,

This is Ginger, a 2004 V-star 1100 with a bit of a story! I'll keep it brief. Was bought new buy a guy who wanted it to show in his lumber store and traded in the next year to a Harley dealer. Harley dealer sold it to a guy with only 5K on it who promptly took it to a not so good dealership for an oil filter relocation kit which you need for these bikes. They put it on backwards and he got about 1/2 an hour down the road and blew the motor. Took it back to the dealer and they gave him a new bike. The dealership used it for parts for 5 years until they went out of business (wonder why) in 2008. Another off road outfit bought all their inventory but really weren't interested in the street stuff so it sat again. They decided to throw all the street stuff up on kijiji and my friend John at Motorcycle Enhancements who builds customs as well as service showed it to me and asked if I wanted to rebuild her last year and here is the result! She is a bit of a dirty girl with tank and speedo from U.S. , engine from Quebec, smaller bits and pieces: breather, seat, windshield, mirrors, footpegs, drive cover, straight pipe exhaust,other assorted chrome bits from e-bay, kijiji, motorcycle shows. So basically Ginger is a new bike from the ground up and 2 years old with 18KM on it.
Purrs very nicely with the straight pipes and eats up the km's in comfort. Wife wouldn't let me put her on the tank but going to sneak her on to the backrest this year. Shhhh! Don't tell the wife! LOL!

WOW thats a nice lassie! I want one XD I have a Peugeot Speedflight 2 (50CC ) BUt she is comfortable to ride, and with a little sean tweaks she does about 50MPH with my 18 stone on her back

Good Morning,
Just recently, ( a couple of years gone by) I was forced to give up riding for health reasons and miss it still. I rode for over 30 years safely and saw a lot of great places and great faces. My last major trip was a 2 week run up to Yellowstone National Park with a female friend who had never taken her Bike outside of Colorado before that. It was a great trip and a fitting ending to a wonderful period in my life. I have Tanks and this Hobby now but you guys have seen those so here are a few pics of my last Bike, a 2005 Kawasaki Drifter 800.
