Does anyone know where I can find colour detail of the inside of the drivers/machine gunners hatches on the Tiger 1 ? shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Thanks Painless, when I think about it, you told me about this site last year or the year before and it is on my favourites list but of course I never thought to look! by the way you have always had my respect but that went even higher when I discovered that Wish was a rescue dog, you sir are the salt of the earth. shaun

Both of my Greys are rescues. Always seemed to make sense to me. Thank you, Sir. I am glad that the site is of use.

from what I know ,early years the interior was painted in Elfenbein ( ivory ), later years they were just red oxide , and the periscopes were black and I seem to remember that the loaders and commanders cupola hatches were red oxide underneath as the ivory stood out like a sore thumb when in the open position 8| :haha:

Hey Shaun... when I used to do historical.. I did them in white... then dirtied them up :haha: ..now I do Anime.. and paint them the same color as the tank :D
