it never ceases to amaze me how i seem to miss half of these posts.
awesome work denzil
did you ever get round to painting it?
c'mon don't make us beg!
great work. I come from an engineering background and can appreciate the time spent making this. I had I similar idea of building screw actuators to lift a dozer blade on a project i'm about to start with a leopard 2.
Hi Thanks for the comments, I'm in the process of building a IDF AVR Trailbrazer based on a M50 sherman. She has a crane, forward and rear dozer blades, so I'm also looking at miniature actuators for the crane and both blades so when and if I find suitable motor/gearboxes I'll let you know Huskydog.

im looking at converting my heng long leopard 2 into a LEOPARD 2 A7+ with the dozer blade and additional armour and remote heavy machine gun. was debating if hydraulics could be used? but its the pipe work. would need to be very small pipes but I cant think of anything that would have a stiff enough wall to stop expansion but would still be flexible(probably end up with motors driving screw actuators like you used, but its shrinking the assy's down, tricky lol.
