HL 105 sherman

Post by greengiant »

Finally took the time to take some pics of my HL Sherman in its 105 version.
As you can see I opened and hinged the front hatches. I also cut out the engine grill deck and moved all the on off switches and a charging plug to that area.

Good Afternoon,
I have an eye for 105mm Shermans. Yours is definitely an attention getter. The beautifully done diorama base suits it to a 'T'.
Regards,

Thanks for the compliments.
If you ever looked at the HL turret you know the blower housings need to be sloped to the turret roof and the 50 cal mounting base must be moved back so it is more over the top of the rear blower housing.
It is also missing the cover over the gunners periscope which Ive always seen in pictures of the real turret.
