Alpha,
*chuckles* Joe will get a brand new Sherman tho' (They are running 159.00 for 2.4GHz setups from HL ) That one I promise to just paint and do regular detailing so I have a stock version to set beside the ones I went crazy on.
regards,
Painless

might just give mine a fresh coat of paint not to sure about the camo, I am beginning to think just plain colours are best, and after a couple of my tanks were sat with at least 30 with weathered paint jobs[this weekend] mine look a lot out of place and lacked something so if I can master this weathering lark ?

Giving in to Peer Pressure Canned....you really shouldn't... from my perspective your Tiger and Sherman look fine...IMO everyone has a different standard... as well as point of view..just do what makes you happy... because that's what counts in the long run...Take me for instance... I don't care if others don't like my GIRLS UND PANZER builds... or if they stood out like a sore thumb in a show... they make me smile...because they represent an anime that made me laugh and enjoy tanks again...not to mention relive a time when I built Japanese Garage Kits
Bottom line... you have an outstanding collection... no one can or would take that fact away from you... if they tried... they are the fools not you...so if you do do changes... make sure you want to do them... and will have fun doing it... otherwise... just kick back and enjoy what you have... because we all do ... enjoy your tanks that is

Good Morning, CH, Alpha,
I can understand where Canned is coming from. I enjoyed the little bit of work that I had done to the M4A1 and was perfectly happy with it until I set Maxene down next to it. Before I say anything else, this is just me talking about me. I have a tendency to get lost in small details in things other than just Armor and I work daily to mitigate that. So, the M4A1 will get some detail and a real O.D. paint job but it will not be another Maxene. There is a level place where we all feel comfortable with the work that we have done. All of the work that we do does not have to match perfectly each time to fit within that level place. Reaching that place with each build is a function of realizing that each build is different and a thing unto itself. CH, I _enjoy_ looking at your tanks. The picture that you posted up above looks fine to me. Only start weathering them and adding detail if it makes you _happy_ to do so because at the end of the day, the only person that you have to please is you.
regards,
Painless

P.S. Alpha, because you asked and because I think that everybody should have more Shermans: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HL-3898-1-1-16- ... 6016.l4276 ( This one is not a 2.4GHz set but they are out there. This one can also be had cheaper for around 129.00 if you shop around. A great base for Crazy Joe's next Sherman )

Top of the day Painless...Thanks for the link... I don't know that seller... but I do know these guys... they don't ship free to Hawaii...but they are top notch in my book... and super fast... you might want to look into them.. Midetech ... I bought the majority of my tanks from them.. and they have never let me down
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Radio-Control-1 ... 3627739%26

That auction has bids on it... but if you get it before... usually other buyers will let it slide by.. I usually do...the best deals to be had by them are from the auctions themselves not the "buy it nows" ... you and pale are lucky... as they will ship free to you... so the benefits are there

And yes...it would make an awesome foundation for Crazy Joe ;)

Heck get one of those Nick Aguilar uppers and you're set :D
