Pale,
I'm taking a break and a honeymoon\vacation the last couple weeks of March. Until then, I've got a 1/72 Russian KV-2 to build and a 1/72 'Capture' version on order to look at the differences, so generally, just research. The next build will be my much desired IR KV-IIA 'Capture' version. I'm really looking forward to that. ;o) You're welcome to visit anytime. The two greyhounds are always looking for new people to trample 'Hello on. ;o)
regards,
painless

Cup,
Thank you, Sir. There are never enough Sherman builds to go around. I learned a lot from this one and from folks like you who know what they are doing. Looking for pics from you on your builds.
regards,
Painless

Alpha,
*chuckles* Same eyebrows on both shots, it must be the camera angle and the lighting. Pretty funny and somewhat amazing. ;o)

Good Morning, Tom,
Thank you for the compliments. Shermans really lend themselves to detailing since there were so many variations and they all seemed to be a rolling hill of extra armor, parts, supplies and personal gear during wartime. I have to laugh. Every time I think I have found a simple tank to rebuild and detail, I discover that all of the items supplied by the manufacturer can be replaced by more accurate pieces or modified to work and work better, etc. That is the Beauty of this Hobby and it is the Hobby that I chose to pursue so I am content. Now, my next build is somewhat rare and a Soviet tank to boot so we will see. *winks*

Alpha, *chuckles*
I was going to say that maybe the Commander could get a date with Kei but his heart really belongs to the French girl from Paris that he named his tank after. Maxene.
