Hello lliw.... Just as a suggestion.... if you have any busted Helicopters ... use the main frame and the booms maybe also the rear rotors

GOOD LUCK

A long time ago I started making plans to build a hovercraft (before I discovered Heng Long). I don't have the plans anymore but one thing I remember is that the hovercraft is more efficient if it there is a board under the lift fans that forces the air to side skirts (instead of blowing air straight down and out of the bottom)

See these

I think it also allows the hovercraft to travel over rougher terrain as less air escapes as it passes over each dip.

Just another two cents combined with Woz's contribution... Use bicycle Inner tubes for the outer skirts... a 12 inch inner tube should be good for the front and rear curves... connecting them with 26 in tubes... using either patch kits or contact cement to solidify the joints :D
