Hi.
I am thinking about putting in some new engines in my HL Bulldog.
it feels a bit flimsy to be honest. But will it improve the torgue? Or should should I change the battery first?
I'm considering this engine/gerabox kit - does any of have any experience with it? http://www.rctank.de/4-1-STAHL-Metallge ... 41-Bulldog
Pro and cons will be helpfull
thanx

New engine?
Re: New engine?
Those look like the Taigen gearboxes... the black steel gears are always a good upgrade... I would say the only thing you might not be satisfied with is.. the motors are pretty much the same as the Heng Longs
Some people like the Waterson's 4;1

Good for heavy models... or if you want to go really slow.... personally I've had no problems with the stock sets provided by Heng Long...What another RC tanker taught me was to use nylon bushings ..they slide over the axles. through the tunnels in the hull ...they work very well...and take up any back and forth play incurred with use ...they can be found in most hardware stores.. and cost about 25 cents a piece

Good Morning, Frank,
That engine\gear combo will definitely help to give your Bulldog some low end pull.
