Does Clark actually bother ?

Bit of a concern, and definintely something which potential buyers should consider...

I have sent a couple of e-mails through the Clark-model website asking about some issues I have with one of his boards. No answer. No reply, nothing.

Ever since he appointed 'distributors' it seems everything has to go through them now, even when they are totally unable to answer questions. I have an issue around the timing of the gun sound compared to the activation of the airsoft motor... so I thought I would drop him an e-mail, but absolute zero by way of response. Same as the previous ones I sent when I was trying to work out some wiring issues.

As I am in the UK... my offical suppleir is Tankzone...a company which inly responds to customer issues when threatened with a PayPal dispute...and one that has also no experience of using the boards...he just sells them. There is nothing wrong with the board, as it seems to operate OK, just not quite as expected.

This left me with no choice but to 'have a go' and hope I didn't damage the board.

HAs nayone managed to contact the manufacturer recently?

I am afraid this seems to be an ongoing issue with Clark now that he has a UK distributer I like the Clark board but no longer use them since the introduction of a UK distributer.

Someone may be able to help with the timing issue here, although I suspect not many will be using the TK22 with airsoft.

Funnily enough I was talking to Clark today about some boards I sent back to him for repair. I've always found his communication to be excellent. What email address are you using? He's also on rcu and is pretty good at responding on there.

I've only got the e-mail address on the clark-model website. The UK importer is not able to help.

Might have to register on RCU if that will get me an answer to my question

It might depend on where you bought the board from.

At Christmas Clarke told me that all future sales and service in the UK would be through the new distributor.

Obviously he can't expect tankzone to provide service for boards bought before the agreement with them so I expect Clark is still communicating about and providing service for these units.

Clark was however very clear that all future requests for sales direct from him from customers in the UK would be redirected by him to tankzone. Tankzone will also be expected by Clark to provide service for all units provided by them. Tankzone will obviously be able to work with Clark on any difficulties but you have to get hold of them first.

i am not trying to poach business here ( I won't ship the Clark to the UK anyway ) but if you have a question about the TK22 maybe I can help?

Basically...I have installed the board to my HL: Panzer III. It's working fine...but

I am running it with the airsoft setup, as per Clarks re-wiring diagram, set so the barrel elevation goes both ways. This is also fine.

What I was asking is if there is a way to adjust the timing of the airsoft trigger. At present...the airsoft motor runs AFTER the reload sound.

So..,.the gun sound goes bang...the reload sound finishes as the last bit of the sample is played...then the airsoft motor engages and fires the BB.

It's not a faulty board, the item isn't broken, and it's all wired up as per the instructions. The board retailer would be my first port of call if the board was broken or something wasn;t operating... but it seems logical to me that this needs someone who actually UNDERSTANDS the unit to explain how I might be able to achieve this, rather than someone who just sells them...as is the case with the UK importer.

On top of that...the UK importer is not good at replying to e-mails in the first place. I chased him for weeks after he took my money for a programmer kit which wasn't in stock...but he didn't actually bother answering until I took out a PayPal claim to get my money back.... then he replied!

It's a shame...because if Clark is ignoring all contact except through the UK importer ( Tankzone) his business in the UK is finished. I can understand him ignoring direcdt approaches for sales ... but all approaches?

Are you John Palmer? we did answer your question within 24Hrs, don't know why you're still complaining? and we just got your mail once, not couple of e-mails.
