tamiya king tiger 56018 problems

Hi, just finishing tamiya 56018 king tiger build, got a carson reflex 6 channel tx and rx, I cant get the guns to work, it says to slide the r/h trim up and down and flick the r/h stick, nothing happens, everything else works fine, when I put it on self check, main gun recoils and flashes, machine gun flashes,tried moving connections on receiver, no difference, checked all the wiring, no joy, I've run out of ideas now, please can anyone help, thanks,Mel.

Have you made a correct setup of DMD?

Try reprograming your dmd make sure the trims are in the middle before you start.
