new to weathering and need supplies...

Fine looking forum you have here.

I'm recently new to model tank building and I was sort of surprised to find out most of the stains, pigments, filters and washes etc... are not available in a shop with in a hundred miles. I live in central California with 1,000,000 plus people living in this area, and spent the day driving around with very little luck. So it looks like I'll be paying shipping, which is not a big deal, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a one-stop internet shop to get all these products I need, vs. get the stuff at 2 or 3 different sites.

If the shop was located in the U.S. that, would be preferred, but it looks like most dealers are out of the UK and Australia. I'm really having no luck finding a site located here that carries all the above mentioned items.

In Canada and I stock a lot of weathering stuff for us guys in NA. I am slowly running out of the AK paints but I do have another supplier that I will be dropping in shortly to replace that line

I hear you. Mr Surfacer 500 is apparently very dear hear abouts. So much so that I will have to resort to spraying automotive primer in a cup and brushing it on to get a cast texture.

Check at a Hobby Lobby if you have one near you. They have a vast assortment of artists colors, both oils and acrylics. The store by me also has a variety of Tamiya weathering paints.
