Greetings from the South!
Hi all,
New member here!
I'm Andrew, a 40 something dad from Sussex, currently reliving my childhood through my 12 y/o son.
We have a Tiger 1 that started life as a Heng Long but now has precious little left of the original save for the electronics.
From the leftovers I am currently a building a brushless fantasy Sturmtiger/Jagdpanther hybrid thing. It has 3600kv motors, 30A aircraft ESC's and currently running 2S 60C lipo battery. I'm going to have to gear it down a little but it will be interesting to see what lets go first, the plastic gears or plastic tracks!
I'll post some piccies when it is in a fit state to be seen.
Bye for now,
Drew.

Re: Greetings from the South!
Drew welcome to the Forum, a Tiger 1 you say, well I don't think there can be many of them out there, I mean I have one and Painless has to many and Tanks for the Memory has some, hmm now I think about it nearly everybody has at least one, which means if you have a question we probably have the answer, and if we have a question you probably have the answer, now that's what I call a plan! enjoy the Forum and please do tell what your next Tank is? shaun

I think I am about to upset someone

Re: Greetings from the South!
Yes, Tiger 1 isn't exactly original but it's always been my favourite. My current build is tiger in lower hull and half the upper, the rest I have made of card and papier mache!
My next tank will be a Chally (if the rumours are to be believed)
Cheers,
Drew.

Drew my friend I was not taking the rise, just observing that just about everyone of us love's Tiger's and rightly, whether Heng Long, Taigen/Torro, Trumpeter, WSN or Tamiya they are all impressive in 1/16. I think that you will be in a lot of company if the Challenger does show its face. Take care. shaun
