Loving it painless love the wood-stained decking.question.what is the yellow thing on the turret? Is it a mirror? Love the detailing.

Good morning,
Doc, that is the turret spotlight. I had wired it up with a grain of wheat LED that got fried by accident. I replaced that light source with a 4mm yellow LED. It is a little dim in the photo since the battery was on it's last legs before recharge. The yellow light seems more 1940's. I am going to do a yellow wash on the headlights to try to get them in synch.

57th Day: Spent the day out with local friends so managed to incorporate a visit to Hobbytown to look for Mr. Surfacer 500 and a larger collet pin vise. Well, they turned out to have the pin vise but no luck on the Mr. Surfacer. I will try Hobby Lobby tomorrow. Tonight, I painted the grease zerks on all of the road wheels. Since the tank is newly serviced they should all have the red tip on the zerks. ;o) Pictures:

you have far to much patience all this minute detail , I would not even attempt ,all credit were its due old chap wot wot ,of subject a little I put the turret I did on my 105,to compare I like wot I did but it seems its not gone well with others ? may leave it on

58th Day: Had some very cool things come in the mail! Metal .50cal ammo on a belt along with material and detailed instructions on how to make more. Alpha, you are brilliant! ;o) Thank you, my friend! Tonight, I fixed some of the stock HL stowage crates by adding bottoms to match made out of plastistruct slats. I also got around to puttying up the two metal 'Jerry' cans I got on Mato Mart's Black Friday sale back last Thanksgiving. ;o) Tomorrow night will be a big prime and paint accessories night. Dang Painless... I didn't think you'd post pictures ........... You are very welcome though...with all the metal details on your SHERMAN I didn't think a little more would hurt ...you might want to give the tape another going over with the round side of the tool I put in there with the other stuff...looks like some places are coming loose....glad you like them... it was fun making them... I like when someone says something can't be done I think that's when the masochistic side of me kicks in and says "oh Yeah???"

Unfortunately.. like I said... some look like they are done by the hand of god... the rest look like god said... hey buddy you're on your own now.. I'm taking a break

Aww Shucks Pale... it's nothing I don't see others do for others here ... I'd do it for you if you needed them...Painless is just going above and beyond on this build....I just wish the quality of the bullets were more consistent ....the instruction sheet is a one off.. so maybe Painless can make you a copy ... that way should you need them you could make them yourself as well...pretty easy stuff... and with your meticulous eye for detail... will probably come up with some better more consistent examples ... me .. I don't really need those details... but admittedly... don't mind the challenge of making them

i save myself money on the boxes by making them from the wooden coffee stirs you get in coffee shops !

cheap as chips like the .50 cals though ! looks like fun to do !
