Took a KT to school
My son showed off his KT today at school. He was star student and he could bring one of his interests to school. Needless to say his KT was a hit. The kids could not get enough of being shot at and chased around. A bunch of 9yr. olds falling to the ground or simulating getting blown away by canon fire. Even some of the girls liked it. One of the girls said the boys looked like they were having seizures when being hit with the machine gun fire. At the end of it all most of the kids were going to ask their parents for one. Maybe he started something.
You have nothing to fear, but fear its self. Or maybe a KT too!

I banned my 8 year old grandaughter from touching my tanks then last night after a couple of tinnies I let her have
a go with my HL PzIV. Under strict supervision though.

She was thrilled, and soon had it doing well controlled laps of the kitchen.
Guess what, she's asked her mum to buy her one for her Birthday!
Another recruit.
Cheers

The funny thing is how they interacted. It's not TV, nor a video game. It was an outside activity. They played a good 40 min. with no sign of boredom. When asked how much by a lot of the kids I just told them it would cost around two to three video games to start. My son has had request now to come over and battle with the other tanks. Which I said was fine only if they bring their dad's to see. Dangled the bate, reeling them in, and hope to pull on board.

sounds like a cunning plan to me Tailend charlie, reel them in, and get them to join up here
, i think i'll try the same at katie's school.
its funny like you said how people interact when it comes to something like rc tanks, you never know, if we play our cards right we could get rc tanks on the national school curriculum

makem, never under estimate the young. My son was 8 when he started and now a ripe old age of 9 he keeps up with the big boys. At first the two clubs we belong to didn't mind him battling, but when he showed he was a force to be reckoned with, things changed. They showed him no mercy. He was now a threat. Some could not believe they were battling or got knocked out by a kid. So be careful your granddaughter could turn out to be a challenge.
tiger205 you should let Katie take one and you should see the kids faces. It seems to open a whole new world. Our old one. Pre-video games.
