thanks Tony, Ive not finished with the KT yet, Ive been told i need to apply a wash to it to dampen down the camo. I have ordered a tin of Dullcote which i will spray over once i have made a wash for it. I did use the tamiya weathering pastels on it but someone told me it look dry brushed!! so with a damp sponge i wiped it off....will have another go though.

That's a nice KT you have there Kev, the internals are really neat.
Like Tony said, it's your tank so don't be too worried about others opinions.

thanks for that John, im going to try again with the weathering pastels today, i just need to make sure i get an even application all over the hull. Hopefully it will go ok then when my tin of Dullcote turns up, i can dull it all down.

cheers Rob, im going to get a set of metal impact tracks from this guy http://www.welshdragonmodels.co.uk/

i have dealt with him before and is very good, its where i got my impact gearboxes from.

I just need some decals now, the ones i used on the KT peeled off!! the were some old ones i removed from an old Heng Long tiger1, i don't want to glue them on. I did have a go at painting them one, but made a mess LOL.....i even drew them on first with a pencil, but i cant follow a line with a paint brush  :-\

i spent a good 2 hours yesterday putting some more weathering pastels on the KT, once i find get some decals, i will give the whole tanks a coat of Dullcote to dull her down.

Cant wait for the meet in feb!!

cheers for now
