Munchenbrg Div. Panther Colours/Camo

I was hoping someone here might have some documentation on the colours and camo for the Panther G's of this late-war unit.

I find getting good documentation of the late 1944 to 1945 Panthers challenging.

I am trying to determine if the tank in this picture is a depiction of a Munchenberg Div. Panther.

I have seen some sources saying it is, there are others that dispute it.

From my references, I have that pic you found identified a 5th Panzer Abteilung, 25th Panzer Grenadier Division Panther G.

These other two are from the Panzer-Division Müncheberg, Berlin, March 1945.



This one is a MNH ( MASCHINENFABRIK NIEDERSACHSEN-HANNOVER ) or a MAN ( Maschinenfabrik Augsburg Nürnberg )produced tank and detail wise you can use the HL Panther G version.

Here's the other



This one here is a Late variant produced by MAN and would work out well with the HL Panther G and detail wise you can still use the HL Panther G version with some add-ons from Steve at WDM.

Here are some key detail characteristics of all Late Panther from their respective manufactures.

Exhaust hoods: MAN - No, MHN – Yes, DB (Daimler-Benz) - Yes.
Chinned mantlet: All yes but there was never a total switch over and some late models had the standard mantlet.
Deleted AA ring: MAN - Yes, MHN - Yes, DB – No.
Foliage loops on turret: MAN - Yes, MHN - Yes, DB – No (DB has brackets for spare wheel on turret).
LSW(Last Station Steel Wheel): MAN - Yes, MHN - No, DB - No.

Finally, the location for the Balkenkreuze on Panthers depends on the factory in which they were built.

MAN always placed their Balkenkreuze on the front hull-sides, directly in front of the pioneer tool racks.
MNH and Daimler used other locations for the Balkenkreuze.
MNH's Panthers had the Balkenkreuze on the center of the hull.
Daimler's Panthers had the Balkenkreuze on the turret.
So, if you can see the Balkenkreuze on a Panther, you can clearly identify a tank whether it has been built by MAN, MNH or DB.
