Tiger Tank Track

Post by niallp »

Hi all
I made my first ever rc tank (or rc anything)purchase on Monday it is a Taigen Hand Painted RC Tank Early Version Tiger I Grey Camo - Full Metal - 2.4GHz ,i bought it for my sons birthday .I gave it to him today Friday ,after about 15 min of use the left hand track stopped driving forward but it will work in reverse and we also noticed the hatch on the left side above the track thats not working will pop up if you try to drive forward .

I have contacted the company i purchased it from and am waiting to hear back ,i would appreciate it if anybody could give me advise on how to fix it

Thanks niall

Good Morning, Niallp,
As Pale Painter suggested, make sure that your battery is fully charged. The Driver's hatch opens if you try to drive forward? That is truly odd. That scale tank has the same issue as the real one in that those interleaved road wheels tend to get jammed easily or throw stuff into the sprocket or idler. Check and make sure that the sprockets and idlers are securely screwed into place as well. You may check there for obstructions causing the tracks to bind. Good Luck!
regards,
Painless
