stug 3 pig nose / gun help

Hi lads, tonite hopefully will be first start to my stug 3 build, first thing how do I take off the gun/ mantlet etc to change it over? thanks glen

I wonder if you have been to the Heng Long builds site? I am pretty sure if you check through the pages there are at least two builds of a Stug, you might have to flip through a few sub pages to find them. Good luck. shaun

glenny25, you will have to take the gun off the pinion mount from the inside, and there is a hidden screw at the bottom that tightens the inside pivot mount to the mantlet. If you are replacing it with the pig nose, you can just glue the pig nose piece to the old pivot mount. michaelC
