Hi Guys,
My name's Wes and I'm 33 from Worcestershire. I've been a long time time Tamiya tank modeller on and off since I was a kid and recently time permitting a Flames of War Late War US player. I had been eyeing up RC Units for years and finally pulled the trigger on a Heng Long Sherman with metal gearbox and tracks which I'm currently putting through it's paces in my garden proving ground whilst deciding which way to go with markings, stowage and possible upgrades, but at present my main goals for the Sherman are painting the tracks, drive sprocket and idler wheels to match the rest of the vehicle. Overall though I'm leaning towards a model that represents the overall flavour of Sherman tanks rather than maybe one particular 100% historically accurate tank.
Need to get cracking though as I also want a Tiger 1, Panzer IV, T-34.... damn it I want them all now!!
Looking forward to getting the most from the forum, making new friends and hopefully meeting up with other guys in the West Midlands.
Wes

Welcome. Now put a plow on that tank and turn over that soil while you are out playing in the garden.
