Hello Painless... Here's the photo of the double machine gun on my KV ... nothing special... I also hope you don't mind if I put it on your SHERMAN BUILD...

RED to hot

BLACK is ground

Thank you very much for the photo. Now that I know this works, I will use it for the spot on my Sherman and hook it up to the head lights. Your pictures are always at home on any build thread of mine, my Friend. ;o)

No Problemo Painless.... a parallel circuit like that set up will work fine for your searchlight rig...just make sure to stay to the same gauge of wire... as it will take more of the current and make your headlights a little dimmer,,,and thanks for letting me put the pic on your thread... I hope it helped

That is the same one as I have, but to be honest I really fancy another one to make into a firefly version but time will tell, but love how yours is coming on

I ordered the tank from Oz and it was two weeks before I went looking for it. Turned out it had been sitting in my Post Office here in Firestone for a week. We have 'interesting' small town postal service up here in the TriCity area. I used something called SeaMail (Australia's Postal Service) and it was in Firestone in a week.

18th Day: Nothing in the mail today. Holiday labors dictated that Christmas cards be in the mail tomorrow. All I was able to accomplish Tank-wise today was to build the stowage bits. I had Tamiya and HL and Mato pieces. A couple of the two piece plastic and metal ones will need putty before paint but all in all, turned out pretty good. I added the third handle to the Mato metal Jerry cans. I used a couple of industrial staples, cut to fit and glued into place. Picture:

19th Day: Nothing in the post today. I spent the few minutes I allowed myself outside of Holiday preparations tonight, gathering up HL metal tracks, sprockets and idlers and getting them ready to box up to ship. I also began removing the stock road wheels from the bogies to prep for shipment but will have to finish that task up tomorrow night after a planned Holiday dinner. This will all be shipping out on Saturday to Hawaii. Pictures:

20th Day: Nothing in the Post today, awaiting one last item from Japan, the Tamiya machine gun bag for the Sherman. Tonight, I finished removing the rest of the stock HL road wheels and set them aside to pack up in the morning to begin their long trip and transformation. I went ahead and removed the metal idlers too as they, along with the Mato metal idlers will need primer and paint. I'll decide which to use when I see how much horizontal track slack the HL Idler leaves me with the T-74 tracks installed. The test Mato road wheels I installed back on their bogie. The only discernible difference after undergoing modification to fit the HL bogie is that they roll easier. ;o) Pictures:
