The easiest way would be to use the attack zimmerite kit that I think has now been released. However if you've got a lot (and I mean a serious amount) of patience then you can use miliput and a small slot head screwdriver to get the effect.

I like the burn method. No worries about that damn putty sticking, no worries about working fast before it dries out. You can do as much or as little at a time as you want. Not hard to do just take a soldering iron tip shape it to the size you want and start. I modeled mine after the Bovington tiger for the size of tip. Here is my KT build using this method with pics.

Lots of people who have seen it finished say it is the best representation of zim they have seen and the best part is if you are going to battle no worries about it coming off, chipping, etc... because it is the base plastic of the hull! :D

Alpha and Tom that would be a very weird crew that drives my kink tiger lol , but I have sorted it now  , and just waiting for Santa to bring my goodies ;) .well if toms tiger had been up before I got my HL one it would of saved me a job but hey hoe.any way back to zimm looking at it I'm going to practice with the soldering iron on the old Tipanther tops I have so fingers crossed, but while we are here what do you guys think about the tank flags and pennants ? As I would like to get a set the same but I have the 2 different KT turrets so did they ever fight together and under what pennant of flag?
