6th Day: Nothing delivered yet. I managed to break a couple of blades working to manually separate the support posts from the plastic grills and have decided after cutting my knuckle pretty good to use the Dremel. I'll have to cut and leave a little of the plastic grill and just sand it down level. Alpha, that's an interesting twin barrel Sherman to say the least but I'll have to leave that one to CH. Yep, it is pretty freaking cold now, in the negatives with more snow forecast for Saturday. Pale, I'll probably bug you and Alpha for some electrical advice once it comes to the point where I need to wire up the turret spot light. No pictures tonight, broken blades and band aids don't make for very interesting photos *chuckles* Hopefully the post is kinder tomorrow.

You're going to ask me about electricals ...... .............I'm probably not the one to ask Painless... but go ahead fire away...you know me by now... If it's over my head... I'll tell you so

by the way Painless.... I did some more research on that TAIGEN KV... man that sucker sounds mean 20 lbs?....you won't need to shoot anyone... just ram them ...I can see why you rather go that root though...if you parted it out... and used the HENG LONG as a foundation... you would probably spend more

7th Day: Finally the drought is over and parts are starting to filter in. I got home too late tonight to whip out the dremel but tomorrow holds a lot of promise for work to be done and fun to be had. (is funny how we tank enthusiasts define fun innit?) Alpha, thank you for the kind offers, I will definitely be talking to you. The digit is not too bad. Some neosporin and a couple of band-aids and I am right as rain. Exactly, on the KV, Alpha. Lots of heavy metal at a cheaper price than if I piece mealed it. On to the good stuff.

I quite like the suspension build and function in the h/l bogies.

I think I would probably follow Fynnsdads lead from an earlier build and just swap the wheels over to the Mato ones, nice and easy then. I might even do this with my own shermans at some point providing I can source the wheels (or complete bogies) that is.

You are reading my mind, Sir. I want to try just moving the wheels to the HL bogie which does have a better action before getting into the serious business of modifying the hull to accept the entire Mato bogie. We will see how it goes.

Aye, the sculpture is pewter. Thank you, Sir. A very Happy set of Holidays to you and yours as well. It is difficult to get a day or even a couple of hours during the Holidays to set aside for a build. I'll do my best tho'. When all of the bustle is going on around me, it's mentally relaxing to be allowed to focus on one thing.
