Tank & crew
Now that i have the tanks i needed some personal to accompany them. Bought these of eBay you have to assemble them then paint them, talk about time consuming but it helped pass the days..

Yes doc larsson, second childhood has finally caught up to me..
PainlessWolf as you can see they look a lot better further away, tried to paint the eyes and lips but looked a lot worse so left them all one colour..

Good Morning,
Thanks for the closeups, Diesel. ;o) Who is to say that you don't have the right idea about leaving them blank? Otherwise, you might wind up with something like this: *chuckles* Nice builds tho', I love the ornate molds on the uniforms and the metal badges.

Hey Diesel.. your figures look fine... the faces are just right foundation wise... when painting the faces .. it is the one time I say the better the brush the better the resultDiesel wrote:Yes doc larsson, second childhood has finally caught up to me..![]()

I use the TAMIYA

for eyes lips and eyebrows.... it works well... I've had mine for years... and is more than broken in... and actually with that brush the older it gets the finer the line
One trick to remember is to reduce your paint... and practice stroke first on a scrap piece of paper or whatever is handy... when you get the proper line you like stick with that mix
Though I think the eyes I do are easier than the ones on serious figures lol

Keep up the good work

Good Morning,
It does get better with practice, Diesel. That guy I posted will turn out a lot better once I remove the stubble and dirt attempt and give up on red lips and get back to simple dark lines to delinate facial features. Yep, Alpha, he is mine, I use him to illustrate how not to paint faces.
