As long as my usual seller on eBay keeps shipping I'm happy. As an aside this wouldn't be an issue if we still had model shops! Sadly with modelzone gone I can no longer get hold of tamiya paints in Manchester town centre, sad state of affairs :(

White Ensign Models do a good authentic range of armour colours - (Yes my 1st love is 1/350 RN & DKM 1/350 static ships) adn they have posted the following about shipping paints -

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN NOW ONLY SHIP PAINT BY POST WITHIN THE U.K. ROYAL MAIL WILL NOW DESTROY ANY SOLVENT BASED PAINT THEY FIND IN OVERSEAS PACKETS, WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO X-RAY SCANNING. IT SEEMS PARCEL FORCE ARE STILL ALLOWING IT THROUGH TO MAINLAND EUROPE EXCLUDING SWITZERLAND AND THE ISLANDS, BUT THEY WILL NOT PUT ANYTHING IN WRITING. WE WILL THEREFORE SEND PAINT TO ANY CUSTOMERS IN MAINLAND EUROPE THAT ARE WILLING TO PAY THE MINIMUM PARCEL FORCE SHIPPING FEE OF £20.00 EXCLUDING VAT. THIS IS HOWEVER STRICTLY ON THE UNDERSTANDING THAT IT IS ENTIRELY AT THE CUSTOMERS RISK, AS OFFICIALLY PARCEL FORCE HAVE SAID THEY WILL NOT CARRY PAINT.
