thanks for the tips,answer to your question painless wolf,yes there is usually a gap on the jagdtiger,something i also wasnt happy with so some carefull trimming has hopefully sorted that out,going to have a go tonight so will post pictures over the weekend.

best i could do,it is almost like the top hull is a couple of mill shorter than it should be

Another tip for taking care of the gap... add a little plasticard to whichever side requires it.. maybe creating a 90 degree tuck on the upper hull... and a little addition to the bottom ... so when the top seats... it will appear sealed .... sand it flush and you should be good

I know this is out of the usual ... and I don't want to sound critical... but your netting... when I look at it hanging over the nose of the hull... it makes me think of those bad tattoo coverups ...perhaps a piece of stained wood and some sandbags might be a better look
