an apology

Post by jarndice »

Painless Wolf my dear friend I belatedly realise that in the welcome to Palepainter I renamed you Pointless, a less accurate name for a truly skilled hobbyist no one could think of. I in common with many readers of the Forum look foreward to your entries in the knowledge that we will find humour as well as erudition, I humbly hope for your forgiveness. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Good Afternoon,
Jarndice, I hadn't noticed as you didn't call me an "expletive deleted". *Laughs* Even those are Ok on days when I am being an arse. I sober up eventually and come bearing gifts in hand. So no harm done ;o)
regards,
Painless

OK... now take your preferred tanks to neutral corners... wait till I'm out of range... and begin firing :haha:
whoever gets hit first must surrender their tank to me ...
to which it will receive a gold or pink paint job... no choice ... flip of a coin decides it :D

Hi jarndice and painless
It sounds like the two of you have a good 'banter' going on here with an excellent vocabulary, combined with sharp wits :D .....
It might be worth just starting a new post, perhaps titles 'Insults' or in a more friendly vein, 'one up-manships' so that I can just 'Read and Enjoy' the two of you exchanging witticisms.. :haha: ..I might even be able to add a few comments of my own to keep the 'fire going'.... :

Good Morning,
Dietrich, all, I'm not sure how this got all the way over here. I said hello to the nice new Tanker and apparently was mistakenly insulted by Jarndice for which he apologized. I hastened to assure him that everything was all right. (which it is, with a name like mine, I have heard it all) Alpha dropped in and now you are suggesting a new thread for Banter between Jarndice and me. Banter? I've never been accused of Banter before. I think I'll stick to greeting new Tankers, commenting on ongoing builds and showing off my stuff when I have something to show off.
regards,
Painless Wolf
