berman wrote:I have often wondered that too Alpha, whether you can add food colouring or something (maybe not dye) to make black sooty smoke. Would love to do this on tanks and trucks
I don't think it's possible... especially black... as you would think there would have to have an element of carbon in it ...which probably wouldn't be safe

I would like to thank Shaun for making this thread... and everyone who contributed to it... as the proportional smokers ended up on my BLACK FRIDAY list of purchases
I have to admit ... I was a little skeptical ...Long story short... I was doing some fine tuning on my KV last night... the stock smoker never really worked that well in the first place.... and now faced with a longer distance for the smoke to travel before exiting the exhaust ... even worse ....so I decided to try one of the proportionals in it... man!....what a difference... not only was it quieter ... it pumped smoke like a son of a gun....they are great... I wish I had ordered more than one set ..

Thanks again gang

HAPPY HOLIDAYS :D

I bought mine from Rc dynasty on ebay.
Their in canada & if memory serves, were £11 for two.
Postage to the u.k is mighty expensive
So I bought lots of bits to make it worthwhile.
So should be nice & cheap for you.
