New tank commander

Post by tomhugill »

To go with my tiger I'm putting together another full crew; first up (as I already had him) is the commander. This is the standard one from the tamiya tiger, but is nicely detailed. Compared to my verlinden figures he seems under scale but Otto carrius was tiny so I think I can get away with it!

I shall update when I finish the rest!

Good Evening,
Amazing looking figure. All you guys who can do faces make me sick. *chuckles* Seriously, tho', for the stock figure, he is a work of art.

Good Morning,
Great work again, Tom, the figures are very realistic especially the careworn expressions. This tank has it all!

Painless

Sorry.... I still like the driver :haha:

I'm amazed that the paint took so well to the commander though... the rubber plastic it's cast from is terrible... I usually throw those as far as I can...as the oils in the rubber never stop seeping... causing the paint to rub off :lolno:

sorry this is the only picture I could find of the guy...it looks exactly like the one you did... but is made of the nastiest compound ever...it stays soft... and even if you wash it.. in a couple of days it will be shiny and greasy feeling

REALLY SORRY ABOUT MY MISTAKEN IDENTITY OF YOUR COMMANDER FIGURE :{
