Weld effects
Hi all  
  Could anyone tell me the best way to make weld effects? I think they add a special touch to anyones tank, and wonder how its done

Hallo Kraggy, If you go to the Heng Long site and clic on any multi-page Tiger 1 build you will see pictures as well as instructions on putting in welds including the best materiel for the job, if you go here you will see a masterclass. viewtopic.php?f=22&t=10844&start=40 .shaun

from what I have seen... milliput or any two part plyable epoxy is best... the second for corners and such... that have manufactured welds... a wood burning iron with the appropriate tip works... light touch needed...as you must move like you are actually welding

Those are the 2 ways! You will find some refinements on the tools to do the job but those are the 2 ways. I actually use both on my builds. Here is my KT with putty on the top turret lines and if you look to the left of the second picture the hull line was done with a soldering iron. 
but there are WAY better artists and descriptions of how to do it on here. Look at Hotte's and Jeff1101 Panther builds. Pure art....
